I'm guessing that you are talking about the big 4 pin adapter. If that's the case, it's not that hard to put them back. I'm assuming here that the metal end is still connected to the wire and you want to put them back in the plastic molex housing...just look closely at the metal pin, you will see some very small fins or slits in the side of the pin. these hold the pin in place. if you didn't break them off, they will likely be bent inward into the pin itself. I would use a striaght pin or safety pin to bend that little fin out a bit so it will catch when you put the pin back in the connector.

Make sure that you put the wires in the right holes...you don't want to short out the board or PSU.

You should just be able to reinsert the little copper connectors one by one. Just "squish the little fingers" on each piece as you push the lead into each hole.

Make sure you put the correct wire in the correct hole!

My situation: ONE wire has pulled out/separated from the 4 wire
unit/housing. The wire that pulled out now has 1/4" of bare wire
exposed, the insulation got left behind in the slot where this one wire
needs to go.

Anything special need to happen to get that one wire securely back in
the metal housing, how do you remove the old insulation stuck inside?
Is it an issue if just the bare wire is pushed back in, I assume the
metal housing originally just pinched through the insulation to make
contact?

Thanks guys i tried gooooogling it but needed anand to help.

If you got an old power supply laying around, just cut a plug off and splice it in.

Obviously the copper connector tip got pulled from the wire. So the only way to fix this right is to get a new copper connector tip, crimp it with the pulled wire and re-insert, you're done! Here's where to get the molex connectors and tips Molex
