Just recently picked up a delivery of kitchen cabinets. I drove around 240 miles. The car went up and down hill with the trailer and took it well. The car used more gas then usual but I still averaged around 280 miles per tank with a loaded trailer.

I used to pull a 620 lbs Seadoo with 250 lbs trailer on my 2000 Saturn SW2. I still got 25 mpg pulling it.

I had 700lbs of sand/pea gravel in the trunk of my Saturn last weekend :p

That's a meaningless number. What fuel mileage did you get?

For the past few days I've been hauling crap behind my 1989 Toyota MR2. It looks hilarious, but works OK. I'm currently in the middle of welding up a utility trailer so that I can stop borrowing.

I used a transmission cooler

lol....that's a hilarious statement right there. Did it have quick disconnects and you plugged it while towing then removed it?
