pull your pants up

See I agree that the whole droopy/sagging 'pants' (I'm English) thing does look silly, and the only people that do that over here are either teenagers thinking they're gangsters, and thus conforming to their little dress code, or the kind of emo kids that have half their head shaved and the other half long.

On the other hand, from some of the posts in here have said, I should explain that I do wear my jeans fairly low (in so far as, they sure as hell aren't gripping my waist or near my belly button) but to the same extent, you sure as hell can't see my 'butt' hanging out of them. The 'waist' band of the trousers is just about half an inch - an inch below the top of my boxers.

It is my opinion that having trousers worn up where they 'should' be, belted to my waist, legs tapering precisely in to my ankles, looks silly on me. It also looks silly on the majority of people I've seen dressed in said manner.

Now of course I'm doubtless influenced by my peers, by what I see other people wear (on both sides of the argument) but it is alas just my opinion, and as such, I present it to you without shame 🙂
