Puddling inside by the garage door

Has anyone installed something like this to prevent water seeping in?

It's puddling pretty much across the whole door and it's about 2 feet wide. Not too big of a deal but after heavy raining we're standing in half an inch of water if we need to get to the trunk of our cars.

I have and it does work, especially if you leave it a bit wide so it can seal not only the entire bottom of the door but the edges as well. You have to dial in the final closed height of the door in at the opener.

The only negative is that water pools outside the door and if it gets high enough, you will submerge the wooden portion of the door and warp it. Also, sometimes the standing puddle of water would freeze overnight and freeze the garage door to the floor. More than once I've had to break the ice with a hammer to free the door.
