I found this through a reddit thread. I've not heard of over half of these.

He breaks it down into 4 different categories of mis-information. Stuff like this almost needs to be part of a general civics class in high school nowadays. Back in my day we 3 TV stations, AM radio, encyclopedias and microfilm. Was a lot harder to spread false info.

Weird, he missed a few, I didn't see MSNBC, Dailymail, Huffpo, Salon, Slate, NBC, ABC, CBS and CNN on the list.....

If you'd read the whole things he specifically called out HuffPost and said he considered putting them as they were borderline. He said efforts should always be made to crosscheck your information.

of course you can. good journalism has multiple sources for each point. I mean people go to school to be journalists. What do you think they do there? Learn how to type? No. ITs about learning how to put your bias aside and report facts. NPR is great at this. Some places have bowed to the need to advertisement and have pushed an agenda. But hopefully they keep the agenda shows and the news shows separate.
