Public speakers that you find effective...

I'm researching especially effective public speakers and need some idea's. I was going to go with someone obvious such as Martin Luther King Jr, but that might be boring. I dont watch the news often, or TV at all for that matter. If I could get some suggestions on interesting and effective public speakers I could continue further research on them.

Good one, but I think I would choose Stephen Colbert over Jon Stewart only because his history is more interesting. Didn't he graduate from an Ivy League school and wrote articles for Playboy or something at one point?
