Public DNS server recommendation

I've been using OpenDNS for years. Can't remember the last time I used my ISP's DNS server. I had to reset those settings to troubleshoot the installation of new equipment. As I go to change the settings back to OpenDNS I am wondering if there are better public DNS servers available. What does everyone else use?

Steve Gibson has a good DNS benchmark page:
https://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm

The 1st time it runs takes @5 minutes it uses a small generic list
Run it 2nd time and let it make a Custom List - says it will take @30 minutes to analyze

Now ranking the performance of 4,849 resolvers for the creation of your
"Top 50 Resolvers" custom list
Then run again against this list

I'm always surprised my own ISP's DNS never makes the top of the list
but it is only a few microseconds difference .055 vs .040 response time
