While that meme is mildly amusing, had Ian destroyed Mara-Lago it would just have resulted in Trump getting sympathy, while his insurance paid for the damage.

My theory is that it is perfectly acceptable to give oneself permission to dump contempt on Donald Trump in the form of sarcastic ridicule so long is it is self recognizable as a form of emotional release and under the management of reason. But I think it becomes unfortunate when it is an all consuming animus you would happily see realized in reality.

And I think so not only for the fact that in the particular example here, it's insurance that would pay and sympathy he would milk additionally, no doubt to make Mara-Lago great again, but even more importantly because it is psychologically unhealthy as well. All hate is self hate and few people don't hate the parts of themselves i think we all have that are like Donald Trump. He is a mirror of ego.
