Do you actually pay attention to the lyrics in songs? I never used to, but now that I've sat down and even read them on paper, they start to have a lot more meaning, the song changes.

Once you listen to the lyrics you can differentiate songs, you can tell which one actually has effort put into it, and which one is just slapped together with vulgarity.

I listen to the words of some songs, but some songs if you listen to the words then it really makes the song suck.

True, but I have listen to some songs and i liked the beat and what i thought they said. Then i read the words or listened more carefully and never disliked the song after that. But you are right, good indication of a crappy song.
