so i have the latest Divx codec, and yet a lot of movies i download off of direct connect play the sound, but instead of video i see one of those swirly visualizations...this tends to happen most with .avi's. is there some other codec i need or what ?
 
try going into c:/program files/media player and open the old version of windows media
then open the divx with that ...
seems to work for me 🙂
