Doh! I JUST saw an adapter for these when I was doing some looking for an affordable steering wheel. I'll check my history and see what I can find. I think it was made by a fairly well-known company, but I forget which one it was

chop up the cables thats a hack, he he naw dont know a serious way, that was a complete nef on my part, but im sure its doable, if i had a psx controller i might be able to help you, get some technical redouts and pin meanings, then you could get same for your game port, and an old joystick with a good cable (all 15 pins have wires out so you can hack it in the middle of the cable) and go to town.

check out a few of th psx emulation sites, i did once read a atricle where they went thru a step by step guide of hacking the controller for it to work in your usb port.

The second links shows you how to interface several different console controllers with the parallel port.

I also found another site for USB PSX controller schematics, but you need some sort of IC programming console to program a USB controller...and it costs $100!
