PSUs with TWO (Top and Rear) Fan Issue?

topic is sufficient I think... Would that cause a heat problem because I've seen some good PSUs but they have a top fan and my case does not.

thats not the question im asking... im asking if there is a problem with having a two fanned PSU in a case with NO top venting?

A PSU with 2 fans will have an exhaust (rear) and an intake (bottom). The intake fan should not face up. Most cases do not have a top exhaust hole but you can modify your case to have one if you want one. More importantly, you want good unobstructed airflow from the front intake of the case to the rear exhaust. Heat will not be a problem if you establish this, even without a top blowhole.

then... grrr.. why the hell do they take pics of the PSUs with the bottom fan facing up... gettin noobs like me all discombobulated n schtuff

It's so you can see that glitzy grill before buying 🙂 Don't worry, all experienced users were noobs at one time (whether they like to believe it or not). On some cases, the PSU is nearly flush to the top of the case, and when mounting with the fan on top would obviously restrict airflow into it. A bottom intake will be obstruction free and draw heat out of the mainboard area...
