PSU

I have an Allied 400Watt PSU (rated very bad but dont feel like upgrading right now). DOes anyone have any experience with opening it up and switching out fans. I was going to open it and put 2 Panaflo fans in there (12L/L1A).

SPCR, definitely.
Also, common sense. I've replaced some PSU fans, nary a problem. It isn't that hard to not shock yourself. Actually, I think you'd have to work at it. You MIGHT need a soldering iron and solder, should the PSU not have a connector for the fan--or you can use wire nuts. To quiet it further, you may want to have the tail going into the box, connecting to a fan controller, or 7v modded big molex.
