PSU with not enough molex connectors

Hi, so i've bought this Corsair CX430 (specifications), but it only has 3 molex connectors.
My rig would need 5. Is it safe to make something like i did in this drawing?
Wouldn't it be kinda overloaded?
Or should i use some SATA-molex adapters? Because they would be just sitting there, not using them for now.

My specs:
Asrock 4coredual-sata2
Intel Core2Duo E6600
GPU HD 4850 (dual slot fansink)
HDD maxtor 60GB IDE
HDD seagate 150 IDE
DVD-RW LG
PCI Creative SoundBlaster

Fans draw very little power, so chaining them together wouldn't be a problem. But in the long run it isn't good to run directly from the PSU as it will run at a constant 100%, causing more noise than necessary and wearing them out faster.

So out of everything connected to that single line, the fans could draw the higher amount of power? I believe the dvd-rw only draws power when in use, but the hdd's are also insignificant in power consumption?

Buy molex splitters if necessary. They're dirt cheap and give you more connectors. HDD's consume up to 5W each; barely worth worry on a 430W PSU.

When you have a PSU, worry about total system power consumption not # of connectors. You can always buy splitters and adapters.

One consideration - if we're talking PCI-e power plugs, I'd recommend buying a PSU with enough native PCI-e plugs for what graphics card(s) you plan to run.

Looking at your system though - 60GB and 150GB IDE hard drives - why not just buy a 500GB/1TB drive and be done with it? Those drives are crazy slow, probably super noisy by now as they didn't come out with fluid dynamic bearings for HDD's until the late IDE/early SATA hard drives were out. They will waste power when idle (admittedly, not too much - up to 10W total).

New hard drives are probably 5-10x faster, MUCH quieter, use less power at idle and won't require buying splitters or adapters.

More noise from fans by running them directly (without fan-speed adapters), yes. However, is there any proof that running fans at 100% wears them out faster than having them ramp up and down in speed? I'm just curious if that's a tested thing or a rectally-derived statistic.

You'd think that bearings wouldn't wear out faster if it ran 100% all the time? Unless you have a zero friction bearing that doesn't require lube, running it at a constant 100% will obviously wear it out faster. Ramping up and down doesn't have as much significance in wear as running it at full constant speed simply because there is no need for it to retain that speed when the computer is idling.

Aside from the faster wear and tear, more power is wasted when the extra cooling isn't needed at idle. Not to mention its sucking in more dust than it needs to.
