Hi guys and gals,

My PC started crashing about a week ago and gradually got worse until yesterday when it got to where sometimes it woudn't boot up. In the process of moving some components to another machine to troubleshoot, i found the problem: A bad PSU.

The ATX connector on the PSU had 3 pins that had been colored brown from heat. I removed the case from the PSU housing and found a capacitor inside was leaking. Now I know for sure I have a bad power supply and I have ordered an new one online already.

But what about my motherboard? Is it damaged? This MB is less than two weeks old BTW. It's a Gigabyte K8NS-939. I found 3 Pins on the 20-pin ATX connector on the motherboard are now a dull grey color instead of a shiny silver. Anyone know if this will be a problem?

Thanks.
