I want a PSU that has a fan with a blue led, that you can actually see it glow, not just a very subtle light. I've been trying to hunt down one with active pfc, modular cables, and something that doesn't sound like a leafblower. Any suggestions?

I hate to be cruel to the guy wanting the blue light special, but he's right, get a power supply based on specs rather that stupid lights or even brand name.

I have an Antec TP480 with blue LED - very nice quality and jazzy... It has 2 blue LEDs - one at the rear which lights up the fan and the other which lights up the inside of the case. This highlights the coolermaster CPU cooler. Coupled with a transparent side and case which also has blue LEDs lighting up the front and side fan with blue LED when powered on, just wows everybody.

I may not really do this jazzy stuff again, (I love the greys and beige in general) but I felt maybe just once...

OP: Search, I am quite sure you will get both jazzy looks and quality.

My kind of guy!! Puts it right out there. (think of Conan's dog Triumph "for me --------") :p

OP, since your user name ends in 1111 and this is your 111 post, I'll give it to you straight up with no chaser. Do NOT base any hardware purcase on form because function RULES!!

Solution: Buy an Enermax, Enhance or Silverstone (maybe others IDK) because none of these units has a warrenty seal. Now this will enable you to open it up without messing up the screw heads, I might add, and install any fan that just might tickle your fancy.

Do NOT go less than 70cfm on a down flow PSU. The heat sinks have been reduced in this type of PSU and DEMAND more air than a cross flow type that uses an 80mm at 44cfm fan...OK

I just recieved a PSU today and was looking for a 70cfm red LED fan for it, but I'll be damned if the antec fan I found will find a home in an Enhance PSU. ;)
