PSU voltage switch

What do you guys think would happen if I switched it from 115V to 230V? Cause um... i found a computer that has been running that way for an undetermined amount of time.

the PC would turn off for lack of power.

Oh, and I have seen power supplies w/ the markings reversed before (230 is actually 115, and vice versa)
