PSU too large for mATX case

I have been looking to use my current PSU a 750 watt in a new micro ATX case but it seems the case's won't take a PSU that is 7 1/8 inches long.
Anyone currently using a large PSU with a mATX case?

It's hard to say as every casing is designed differently but I don't see the need for a 750W PSU in your rig in the first place. I don't think your rig will need more than half of what the PSU could output.

My intention is to build a new computer and thought I might use the great PSU I have. Most ATX boxes won't fit into my desk enclosure.

If you're thinking of building a new rig with that casing, I suggest getting a new one. It doesn't even have a hole on the motherboard tray for easy removal of the heatsink. It is an older generation casing which is not suitable if you're planning on putting in an aftermarket heatsink.

If you don't mind with it and would still want to use that casing, a little bit of modding should solve the problem.

The only case that fits well is the Rosewill Challenger. I have read mixed reviews on it.
Not liking the front panel of the casing, it looks cheap to me. The inside looks good though for a case for that price. Some ATX sized cases with the option for bottom mounted PSU should fit or a tight squeeze.

That case inside is the same as my old one except for the PSU being on the bottom. Is there a side panel on the right? How is it for cable management?
