psu to power 12 hard drives.

I have a home server that i'm planning on adding a few drives to. It currently has 5 drives, i'll be adding 2 now and a few more down the road.

currently using this PSU, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817702014

which has 29A on the 12v rail. the rest of the server is a lga775 celery and 2gigs of ram, so not much power drain there.

i want to get something efficient that will handle 12 drives down the road.

the figure floating around is 3A per drive for spin-up. mobo doesn't support staggered spinup, although if I expand further i'll need a sata controller which may support it. so 3A * 12 drives = 36A, so It looks like i'll need a 500W+ psu for this. any recommendations?

I have a server with a Corsair AX850 that handles Q6660@3.6ghz +8GB+ RAID and Ethernet controllers + 8 1tb hdds (samsung hd103sj) + fans and stuff, without a single problem.

The PSU even shutdown its fan (startling me) because of the low load. Its also very efficient.
