Hi. My test bed thing includes a space fortron PSU and a rigged up On/Off Switch.
My ATX Plugin thing from the PSU to Mobo wouldn't fit in all the way (click into place), but I've had this problem before so I just inserted it as far as it would go and left it.
I plugged in the PSU. The fans all started up for half a second like normal. My LED fan turned blue. I realized I could not turn on the machine without my home-made switch thing. Whilst hooking that up, I knocked the mobo and the ATX plugin FELL OUT! The power LED indicator turned off. Plugged it back in, NO BLUE LED, no fans turning. Of course, the power On/Off switch does nothing - the thing won't boot.
Now I bought the mobo off of Ebay, so I dunno if it worked to begin with... but have I killed my motherboard? Or only the PSU? Or perhaps other components, too?
