PSU temp sensitive fan suddenly goes to full blast...

I have a XG Vortec 700w that has a temperature sensitive fan as well as a fan control knob. For the past few weeks it's been running fairly quiet, but last night it all of a suddenly went to full blast. I haven't been able to turn down the fan since. The fan control knob does nothing, and if I turn it off and let it cool down it's still loud when I startup again.

I suspect the temperature probe is dead but I dunno...
Anyone have any suggestions?

Try checking internal temps and if they are within safe ranges and the fan still is running fast, then RMA it.
