PSU recommendation for a X38 MB

Would someone give suggestions on a PSU for use with a X38 Chipset MB using DDR2? I will not be using SLI, but may do CrossFire sometime in the way future.

The case I will be using is the Mountain MOD-UFO. I have no plans right now to do Water Cooling, but may do that in the future as well. I do plan on getting a Thermaltake Ultra-120 Extreme Heatsink & a S-Flex 120mm fan.

I have another post under Memory section for RAM options. I don't have a selection for Video yet, but I was thinking about getting a Hiper Type R 730Watt PSU specifically the HIPER HPU-4S730-MS ATX12V v2.2 730W Power Supply 100 - 240 V. If not then, something by Seasonic in this range.

Any thoughts?

Seasonic, yes. Don't. Get. Hiper. They aren't known for quality, and I definitely wouldn't use one for a Crossfire setup, what with the 2900XTs using so much power. I was looking a Hiper last year for the bling factor though o.o

Crossfired 2900xt's will need a 700w qaulity PSU. Do you really want to spend twice the money on a PSU because you 'might' use crossfire in the distant future? Just check out tier1/tier2 on this page: http://www.jonnyguru.net/forums/showthread.php?t=103

This might be a good suggestion, should be able to handle dual 2900xt's, and is darn cheap right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817608006 Doesn't have 6+2 pci-e connectors though, so overclocking might be hard with a 2900xt.

Way future = Furrgett about it. Get a high-end GPU and upgrade when it can no longer keep up with your graphic needs. Antec Earthwatts 500 is only $30 to $50 when on sale. 34A on +12V rail. These units are built by Seasonic. No problem running any single GPU rig.

I wish I had read up more about the Antec Earthwatts 500 before pulling the trigger on the Corsair HX520. I would have saved quite a bit. Oh well. :(
