PSU recommendation for a fairly high-end gaming PC?

My brother just recently replaced his 8800gt SLI'd cards with a couple of GTX260-216's. This has, unfortunately, introduced some instability into his formerly rock-solid syste, . getting BSOD's just while surfing the 'net. Also some driver (he says NVKMVN) failures - and this is without running any games.

Seems like it could be the PSU, but since I don't have the PC with me yet, I can't troubleshoot.

Does it seem likely that the PSU is the culprit? He currently has the Rosewill RX750-S-B, which has performed great and is highly rated (9/10) by jonnyGURU. But maybe it's just not good enough...

The system specs:
C2D e8400 @ 4 Ghz
EVGA 690 mobo (I think)
4 GB DDR2 1066 RAM
3 HDD
3 optical drives
Audigy 4

Constructive thoughts/advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated! :)

BSODs and driver errors, doesn't sound like a power problem to me. Random reboots or the PSU shutting down would indicate power problems. What you are talking about sounds like....driver problems to me.

Have him do a driver clean and a fresh installation of the newest drivers.

I'm working on the assumption he did that, since he's fairly computer-savvy, but I'll remind him. Thanks for the response!

Update: after troubleshooting over the phone w/my brother, it's sounding like one of his new cards is borked. He's getting some graphical corruption - including the cursor - with one of the cards installed, but not the other. He's also locked up a couple of times prior to the Vista login screen with that same card. When he uses the other GTX260, everything is just fine.
