I've been looking at some power supplies and I noticed some of them have 12V1 and 12V2. What's the difference between that kind and those with only one 12V output?
I'm not a PSU guru or anything, but the idea behind seperate +12V lines is that the CPU can have its own dedicated +12V rail and the other +12V is for other parts of the computer, which means more stability. Basically evening out the load. I'm pretty sure this is preferable over a single +12V rail.
