PSU question

I currently have a cheap PSU which came with my raidmax case. It is rated at 420w but only has 13A for 12v.
I have also had less than steller OC with my 3000+ cpu and was wondering if the PSU couldn't supply enough power would it cause the random reboots and cause my system not to be Prime stable that I have been experiencing.

My specs are in my sig.

Edit: I was looking for a new PSU and found this it looked like a good price for a 500w but is it a PSU that will blow up on me.

That PS you linked to seems to be all about looking good. Take the same price, remove all the bells and whistles and you might get a quality unit. Also I didn't see the specs listed anywhere and that isn't something you would want to 1st inspect upon receiving the unit.

Go for a brand name, something reputable. its worth the $. I wouldn't even try overclocking anything with the PS that you have right now. thats just me

Yeah, your truoble look to me as though they are caused by that wimpy PSU.

Look at the Fortron 530 watt (28amps on the 12v rail IIRC). Newegg has 'em.
