PSU problems... need advice

Ok so I have a Thermaltake 500 W PSU. I just RMAed it and now have a new one running. It is making this whining noise. I already RMAed the PSU and the Mobo. What could be causing the noise? It is definately the PSU, and no it is not the PSU fan. The actual PSU is making the noise. Heres my specs:

THermaltake 500 W
Core 2 Duo E6550
Asus P5n32-E SLI Plus
Nvidia 6800XT
2 gb Patriot DDR2
120 gb HDD
CD/DVD burner combo

I think 500W is more than enough for this setup right? Also, if I buy a Nvidia 8800 GTS, would 500 Watts still be enough? Or should I upgrade?

Should be okay for 8800gts, but just wonding how much of a whining noise it is? Thermaltake seem to have decent reviews, so I'm thinking you just got a bad one (first on that you RMA'd). Hopefully you won't have any fruther issues. Here's a link that might help you feel better about having a 500w PSU. The one linked is a QUALITY PSU and I'm not 100% sure how well Thermaltake one you own is.

8800gtx on 380w Antec PSU!
