PSU place in the case ?

Hi guys,

I just received my CM Centurion 532 and FORTRON PSU AX450-PN from Newegg (btw, great job: fast, reliable and in excellent packaging condition).

Even if I won't have the other components shortly, I can't wait to put the PSU in the case...
Is there any right or wrong position for the PSU ?
Where the fan should be positionned ? facing up (against the top of the case) or facing down (towards the bottom of the case) 😱

Well, you're right, I'm new at this ! But that is the purpose of a forume, isn't it ?

Thanks for your replies

The fan faces the inside of the case.

While quivering in happy anticipation of the rest of your parts...Study this.

DO NOT use crap screw drivers. Buy new ones if you have too. Hide them and don't loan
them out because tooling will disappear. Damaged tooling results in damaged work 😉

A small reward for welcomed civility.

This is a high end build but the pics are large and sharp, you might get some good ideas for cabling runs, plus it does get into the BIOS a bit. Someone else posted it, so it's not my find.

Setting up the BIOS for the first time can be a little off-putting if new to it. Here is a free guide that will answer questions you didn't even ask. Bookmark it for later use.
