I have Antec case 1040 with 400w PSU. I got two blowing fans with massive ugly connectors for PSU. My Asus A7V has Probe sofware by which you can control case fans etc.
Now I wonder what would be better solution: connect fans to motherboard and let motherboard controll them or leave it as it is right now, connected to PSU directly. Antec call this PSU smart-power
(I was trying to find out what this marketing terms means but no succes).

I would be interested what kind of solutions you folks have implemented.
