I am getting ready to sleeve my psu, but saw that some of the psu modding tool kits cost about $30 :-\... seriously c'mon

Does anyone know of an alternative? do i really need 5 tools? i heard about using a flathead screwdriver and gave it a try last night, but nothing... doesnt seem like thats working for me.

If the tool kit is necessary, can someone point me in the right direction? thanks

lol, at $30 my case looks done :-D hehe... took me a long time to finish the rig, so instead of skimping now i'm gonna go the full monty

If you are going to sleeve your power supply you definately need a molex extractor. link

The ATX connector is definately a bi@tch. I bought a extractor tool for it but broke it my first try. I wound up using staples to depress the pins and remove the wires from the connector.

Definately worth it in the long run though. here is a pic... link
