so i have a aspire xnavigator case that came with a psu. i installed an asus p5n sli mobo and connected a graphics card, optical drive and the fans/led lights to it. Every thing else i dont have yet. I thougth the fans would come on and the lights would glow and the optical would open. but when i turned it on the psu sparked.The light on the motherboard is still on though...idk what happend, did i screw something up, are the fans supposed to come on, or do you need everything before the computer shows signs of life?
 
Aspire, the PSU doesn't inspire me. It's one of those power supplies that not too dependable.

Fortron or Enermax are better PSUs to go with. Hope that Aspire didn't ruin any of your components.
