PSU life expectancy

I bought a neopower 480 watt psu about three years ago. I believe the psu had just hit the market. So I just rebulit the rig and kind of concerned that the psu will fail on me wrecking my new setup. My specs are e6550, p35-ds3l, two gigs ddr2, 8800 gt 512, pci sound card, one dvd drive, one hhd, four 120mm fans, one 200mm fan. I have had no problems with power yet. Does it make sense to replace the psu or shoud I let it ride until an issue pops up?

The original NeoPower was a CWT with Fuhjyyu caps, so there's the possibility of a premature failure... BUT, it's VERY unlikely that it will "take out" any of your other components. The design of the unit was very good with all of the proper protection circuitry in place. I personally have gone through many Fuhjyyu cap filled units that have failed early... but I've yet to have one cause any damage.
