My no-brand PSU just fried.

Need a new one 400W should be fine.
P4 2.8E
2x512MB PC3200
X800XL AGP
P4P800-E Deluxe
Linksys Wireless Card

Anything around $50 or less
So far considering...
Sunbeam NUUO SUNNU550-US-BK ATX12V / EPS12V 550W Power Supply
Ultra 600W $30 After rebate
FSP Group (Fortron Source) AX400-PN
FSP Group (Fortron Source) FSP400-60THN...oduct/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104935[/L]
Forton 400W at E-wiz for $45
What is the difference with the Fortrons?

Which one should I get? I'm leaning towards the Ultra since it is $30 and I can probably go pick it up instead of ordering and waiting.

i can't tell you the specific differences but it doesn't look like theres a PCI express connector on the 2nd FSP model u listed... but of the 3 FSP psu's i'd take the last one @ ewiz. scratch off ultra and sunbeam

Of those only the Fortons are really worth considering, but.....

Since you you are probably looking at about 150 watts peak under load I would go with this 330 watt Seasonic S12. Going with a bigger PSU won't bring you any benefits (there are actually negative consequences for efficiency) and the S12 is a much better PSU then all the units in your list.

You might want to take a look at the For Sale/Trade forum also. They have some good stuff for good price also.
