I had an Antec SL350 350W SmartPower PSU from my old computer. (before I got the Sonata case which came with the TruePower 380W)

This happened some time ago: I was playing around with the PSU, like letting it rest on the little place where you screw it in, since in my old case, there was a little ledge kind of thing that stuck out where the PSU could sit while you were screwing it in the back. Well, one day, the PSU fell from there onto the bottom of the case. I didn't think it was broken, but I tried it in another system and it didn't work. I thought maybe i had turned on one of its protection features (like once when it shut itself off so that i wouldnt be electrocuted)

I try it today in my old Dell Dimension XPS D333, and I plug it into the 24-pin connector of the mobo, that's all I plugged in. I switch the little On/Off switch of the PSU -> on. Plugged it into the wall. The PSU started, but the fan in the PSU didn't start. Like this weird screeching noise came out of the PSU...and nothing turned on...not even the fan in the PSU. This sound...it was like a low screeching noise....a bit enough to give you a headache after a while.

Can someone help me with what the problem is? Thanks.

It sounds like it died... And there aren't many user serviceable parts in there. If you tried it on two systems, and it doesn't work, I think it's time to get a new one.
