PSU for R9 280x

Hey guys.
I need good PSU that can run:
Sapphire R9 280x TOXIC
I5 4670k (overclocked)
and msi Z87-G43 mainboard

On the GPU's box it's written that should be running on 750W PSU, but I've heard 550W would be enough for 280x toxic.
What do you guys think?

I was thinking about getting XFX Core Edition PRO550 or Corsair RM550, but most of the people don't recommend RM series, since they're supposedly not quality PSUs.

Which one would you go for?
Will 550W be enough?

I don't see why people would claim RM series aren't quality units. They're stable and efficient. The only downside is the second tier caps used on +12V but with 5 year warranty it's not a huge issue. It all comes down to whether you can find a better unit for less cost.

Since 280X Toxic consumes a fair bit more power than a standard 280X (e.g. see eteknix review: 50W more than XFX Black Edition DD, these numbers are from the wall), I'd probably go with a 600-650W unit.

As always, it helps to know where you're shopping as it influences the availability and pricing of different brands. I doubt XFX and Corsair are your only options.

Given the prices of decent 600W and higher units in that store, I would go with the XFX 550W. It should handle that system fine, it's just that a bit more powerful unit would run slightly more efficiently, quietly and provide more peace of mind. I just don't think the XFX 650W is worth 27 € more over the 550W version.

If you can buy from another store, I'd recommend Super Flower Golden Green. Excellent units for what they cost. E.g. Golden Green HX 650W 79 €.

Are RM series worth its money? I mean, a friend has bought rm 650 a month ago, but it's not powerful enough for his crossfire 290 so I can buy his rm650 for 90€. is it worth its price?
