Look at my sig for what im running. I just need a GOOD psu for my new DFI mobo. I dont have any price limits, but the PSU you recommend needs to be available in Australia.

I'd suggest a Seasonic S12 500 or 600 watt unit and if those are not avi a 450watt Plus FSP/Sparkle PSU would be my next suggestion.

Tom's Hardware

Link that will establish reliability.

Get a 400W PSU or higher. Your video card will draw a lot of wattage, especially as some gamers use duals; then up to 600W become a reality.

Fortron personally, always HQ and usually overlooked imo and antec truepowers are overated. And great article which proves my points

Avoid Antec

You have Enermax and ePower in Australia, and that could be choices.
I have a Vantec Stealth 520W and I like it, but my next PSU will be a Seasonic 12. But what works here may not be workable there.

If you have any forums in Australia, that would be a better resource to check into.
All we can do is recommend. The final choice is yours. Good hunting.

Now, i bought this PSU like a year ago, chill innovative 510W PSU, it has active PFC and has nice round cables, and a really low noice 120mm fan, the power data is: +5v=45A +12v=25A +3.3V=33A +5Vsb=2A , i think thats good data. And one of the best thing, was, it was like 2 times cheaper than any other PSU claimed to be able to that data :)

1. PC Power & Cooling - If you don't know who they are, you don't know anything about PC PSUs.
2. Seasonic - where companies have to have data centers deployed in places and countries where electricity is expensive, Seasonic is there. 25 year old company.
3. Zippy/EMACS - Found in servers everwhere.
4. Fortron - The Original. Often rebranded.
5. Coolermaster
6. Channel Well Tech & Co (Antec & XClio rebrands these)
7. Enermax

He's right about that and his info carries a lot of weight here. But its really what you feel comfortable with.

Seasonic SLI
Seasonic ATX

These prices are very competitive and maybe after conversion you might think so. Good hunting.

600 is a bit overkill. I would go with the Seasonic 500w, very reliable.

I'm using the Seasonic S12 500 with this board. I haven't had any issues with it, and it's quiet. :)

I just ordered an Antec TruePower 2.0 550W to use with my 7800GTX. Both have already shipped and after reading this thread I'm a little nervous. I have no previous experience with Antec, I hope I made a good choice.

Oooh Antec True Power, hmm I've had a bad experiance with Antec. Plus I've read WAY too many threads about how bad Antec are. But hey, you (BGuardian75), might be one of the lucky ones :D

my tagan 480w u22 works just as well as any other upper echelon units, for that the parts are similar, if not, the same as ocz.
