PSU for HD 6670?

I'm currently running a Q6660. I plan to add an SSD and a 6670 and that should give me a few more years.

What should I get; I prefer something on the quieter side. ~$60 enough?

The VP-450 is quiet in my experience. It's a few dollars cheaper at Amazon than Newegg: link.

That unit gets very solid reviews and the only reason it's not 80+ Certified is its lack of PFC. If you can spend the extra money on the $60 Earthwatts 500W, get that. If you want to save $25, you can't beat the VP-450 for the money.

:S It only has two year warranty btw. I'd have got the PC Power and Cooling unit. it's modular, 80+ bronze and 5-yr warranty for $5 more after rebate.

Wow, I have nearly the same setup--a 4 year old Q6600, an SSD added about a year ago and a very recently-added HD 6670. That's a great combination for the price.

What kind of connector is that? I'll need an adapter for the PSU to work. Point me in the right direction please.

That's a standard 20+4 pin motherboard connector - does your motherboard have a 20 pin socket?

Yes. That pic is from the PSU I'm using now. The VP450 also uses a 24-Pin, but it's way smaller than the one I'm using. Will it actually fit my motherboard? Maybe I didn't try to fit it hard enough.

Edit: Fixed. I didn't realize the pieces were suppose to stick together...
