A friend of mine is building a Dual Xeon system based on supermicro X5DA8 board.

The page says that a "ATX12V power supply (besides the 24 pins, both 4-pin and 8-pin +12v power connector) is required. "

The 8-pin power connector is on the right side of the picture, next to the ATX connector. It looks like two of P4 power connectors combined. (correct me if I am wrong)

Does anyone know a PSU that has two P4 connectors, or one 8-pin connector. Or any PSU that can be used with this board?

Sounds like you need an EPS power supply, which has the 24-pin main plug instead of ATX's 20-pin main plug, and also has the 8-pin and 4-pin ones too. Antec TruePower EPS550 might be a good pick but considering the amount your friend is investing in this project, email SuperMicro to be sure.

Allright, I didn't realize a PSU could be ATX12V and EPS12V compliant at the same time... I think the antec True550 EPS will work, too

Thanks a lot
