PSU for C2D build

I've currently have a Enermax 460 watt power supply in my AMD 3200+ system. I'm in the process of making the move to a Core 2 Duo system and wanted to know if my PSU is going to be enough for a C2D system. I'm not going SLI and I will be keeping my current video card for a little while longer (ATI x800XL PCI-E). I have 2 opticle drives, 2 HDD's, sound card, and 4 fans and a fan controller using power. Also the PSU has a 20 pin connector but I would get a 20 to 24 pin converter.

Thanks. Is a 20 to 24 pin converter required for C2D? Right now I just have the 20 pins in the the AMD board even though its a 24 pin board.

get the MSI Platinum 975X PowerUp Edition IMO better than the DS3 as it's on and off for overclocking plus it uses the 965P chipset.

I just bought one for my new rig so far it's an awsome motherboard no regrets for the price i'd say it's up there if you check the reviews outa the 975X chipset this one is on top most of the time. It's better than the Asus P5B Deluxe.....
