I am confused by what I have read and PSU calculator websites (like Asus and eXtreme) which give wide range results when compared.
I have an got my hands on the following old components;
Pentium (LGA775) D 940 CPU
Intel Motherboard
8 GB of Corsair DDR2 800 Mhz Ram (4x2 GB)
Asus nVidia 6600 GT Video (512 MB) Card
2 X 80 GB SATA HD Drives
Bitfenix Ghost Case
And I am trying to determine a low price (80 Plus Bronze or higher PSU).
I have a Corsair CX430M in mind, but wasn't sure if it will meet the power needs. The calculators give a range of 392 to 497 watts so I am confused. Appreciate any comments or recommendations.
I prefer a Modular supply to avoid excess cables I don't use.
Thanks
