psu for a celeron-based system

My system runs a celeron (under 2Ghz), a 80G ATA HDD, two disk drives (DVD-Rom & CD-Writer) and a not high-end display card...
how powerful of a psu do I need? which brand/model do you suggest?

Antec TruePower 330 or TruePower 380. Either has plenty of power + reserve for your system and are high quality, well regulated PSUs that run nice and quiet.

...or just get a Fortron 300w.
Nothing against the Truepowers (drool), but you really don't need much.

Agreed, even a 250 watt (or less!) would do the trick. Celerons are not power monsters. 🙂

Agreed, but I don't know about less. Always want a little more than you need for later upgrades. Probably a Sparkle or Antec 300W.

Yeah, newegg just got in a new model of sparkle/Fortron called FSP300-GES for $27. looks good to me...
