Hi, I am planning to buy new system below are the spec

i7 870
asus P7P55D
gskill 4 gig ram ddr3 1600
500gb wd hdd
on board graphics or lowend discreet graphics

I primarily want to utilize only CPU power for 3d rendering so i dont need any highend graphics or SLI Crossfire setup.

as per my requirment what will be the best budget PSU I should purchase considering 4 GHZ overclock?

I'd go with a quality 650W. Who knows, you might add a GPU later on for some gaming. Better to have too much than not enough.

Antec Neo Eco 620W was on sale for $50 recently after promo code. You should be able to find something quality for $80 or less.

Antec EarthWatts EA750 750W Continuous Power ATX12V version 2.3 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply
15% off w/ promo code psu15vp, ends 10/31

$99.99 - $14.99 = $85

I already have another system with highend graphics so I do all gaming or graphics intensive task on that machine. this one will be used only for 3d rendering where I can utilize overclocked spped 100%.

In my region I only have option for Corsair or Cooler Master.

As per you guys suggested i should go with Corsair 550VX and it should do the the job right?

Yes. Even a 400-450 watt is more than enough.

I agree with you 100%, and recommended as much above.

However in this case the OP is making a great choice going with the 550VX. The new 430W corsair PSU is a low quality unit, the 400CX it replaced was a MUCH better PSU. Thus making the 550VX the lowest power Corsair PSU i would recommend at this point in time, and its a great unit.

Coolermaster psu's are not that great but it will do what your looking for.

I'd personally would have got a XFX 650. Even a seasonic 520 would he lots.

this x2, coolermaster is not known for there PSU's and the corsair would have been the better bet.
