PSU Fan not spinning

I was looking at the back of my computer while i had it on and just noticed the back fan (the one you see looking at teh back of the case from the outside) is not spinning....i think the other one that is visible on the inside is spinning.

i have no idea how to fix this.....or what is actually wrong with it.

Its dead... reviving a dead or stuck fan usually just buys you a week or two more... you can replace it by splicing the wires or if you can find the right sized fan with what is usually a 2 pin red+black connector. PSU fans dying is common. You either replace it or warranty it.

If your computer has enough intake fans to force air through the PSU in place of the dead fan that usually pulls it out. then yeh your fine. Other than that I wouldnt... An unstable PSU can do more permanent damage than what most people think.

alright, it seems really cool inside my psu actually, even without that fan running, but just in case i'm going to have a fan blowing inside into my psu

thanks for the advice bro

Depending on exactly what power supply you are running, it may run both fans at startup and then cut back to just the primary fan except when temps warrant use of both. Can you feel air flow out the back of the PS when its primary fan is running?
