Morning all, to be honest I think i'm SOL with this one, but here's the details;
27th February 2013 - Back when I didn't really know what I was doing, I purchased an XFX 750w P1-750B-UKB9 PSU
One of these
From a well renowned UK e-tailer.
This in theory came with a 5 year warranty.
Fast forward 4 years to February 2017 and the thing goes pop. Arrange RMA, send it back to the e-tailer and they go quiet for several weeks.
Eventually I get an email that says the following;
Now admittedly, I have used this PSU for 4 years, and it cost me £77.70 when I purchased it, so thats roughy a 75% depreciation.
But if it is still in the warranty period, and I am not at fault, am I not liable for a full refund if a replacement is unavailable?
The fact that it cost me £13 to post it to them makes the £20 a touch insulting to me.
So internet guru's, is there anything to be done, or just suck it up at accept my measly £7 refund.
