This or this.

One, I would have to wait for a release date, which has been pushed back twice (but has more power on the 12V rails) or go with the one I can get now.

The Silverstone is released in 8 days.

before you go dropping $170 on a PSU, what are the specs of the computer?

EDIT: for that price, you could get a pc power and cooling.

Price of the cpu.

I do more than gaming also, alot more. I sometimes have multiple apps up at once. I really didnt feel like going with AMD at the moment as they are coming out with something new.

Plus, around Christmas I may just buy a new chip and motherboard for Conroe and didnt want to get new RAM at that time.

Also, my chip selections were:

4000+ ~ $340
4400+ ~ $450
940 ~ $250
950 ~ $340

With the price for the 4000+ being around what I wanted to spend on a chip, the 950 and 4000+ were about the same.

I saved some money for the time being and will most likely upgrade when Conroe comes out. I have also had no problems with Intel chips, ever. Reliability was one thing I looked at. I know AMD makes good chips and fast chips, but I just finally decided to change my mind when i saw Intel slash their chip prices.
