PSU CPU (atx12v) connector won't fit with new Z87 mobo?

This blows. I just purchased an Asus Gryphon Z87 mobo and just realized that my PSU connector won't fit. The (2) 4 pin connectors patterns are off when compared to the pattern on the motherboard.

I understand the rounded pattern will fit the square pattern, but will the square pattern pin fit into the rounded pattern?

I would hate to have to buy a new PSU. Any help would be appreciated.

Mobo: Asus Gryphon Z87
PSU: Antec NeoECO 620C

Edit! Hmm. Looks like it should fit if I flip the plug around. (left to right, right to left). I'll try later tonight.

I think that you flipped the connectors the wrong way (you said "left to right, right to left"). You should have kept them as in your picture and insert them in the motherboard socket with the bottom side (as shown in your second picture) up. The yellow wires should be in the upper row at the motherboard connector, and the safety catch from the power supply connector should engage the ridge on the motherboard connector.
