PSU Concerns

After reading the PSU guide here at AT, I'm more than a little worried. The PSU I was going to order has "only" 15A on the 12V rail. It's also one of the few that has cables long enough to run through my case (Antec P180). So now I need a PSU with 20A+ and long cables? I think 20A is a bit overkill for my system...

Athlon 64 3700+ (gonna OC)
DFI Lanparty Ultra-D
Radeon X850 XT

I'm looking at the Enermax Whisper 460W (link), but I don't know if the cables are long enough. Quite the dilemma. Do I really need 18-20A on the 12V rail? I thought that was only for SLI systems.

Any Antec PSU works with the P180...choose which one you like

Edit: how bout this one? Text

Lots of wattage if you wanna add more HDDs

18 ? 20+ amps on the 12v rail is a good number to aim for with a high end system like that.

I recommend this Seasonic.

I plan on picking up a TTGI 450watt. Is this fine for my current system setup? If I upgrade to a 939 socket will it still be fine? I DO NOT plan on upgrading to a SLI in the future.

Yeah, that will be enough.
