ok finally, the last thing on the computer... i realize i've bugged you guy enough the last couple of days.
choice 1
THERMALTAKE TWV480 SILENT PUREPOWER: http://www.ncix.com/products/i...anufacture=THERMALTAKE

Choice 2:
ENERMAX NOISETAKER EG475P-VE-SFMA 470W: http://www.ncix.com/products/i...mp;manufacture=ENERMAX

I will be running athlon64 3200+
geforce 6600 gt
asus a8v
seagate 80 gb sata
maybe a mouse and keybaord too ;)

Would both these be able to provide enough power (i have heard that a good company's PSU doesn't need to be sooo high as compared to generic.)
secondly, which is quieter?

I think either w/b able to provide enough power for your system. Although many will vouch for Thermaltakes PSU, I much prefer the Enermax. Mine is the 425 watt Noisetaker and it seems really quiet. I can't hear it above my other fans.

Enermax PSUs are far better than Thermaltake. I don't think there's anything wrong with that thermaltake though.
