PSU-Case Fan Question

I see people talking about putting their case fans on either the 5v rail or the 12v rail of their PSU and I'm wondering how do I know which rail my case fans are on.

I'm connecting all my case fans by molex connectors BTW because my mobo (ASRock 939Dual-SATA2) doesn't have enough fan headers.
 
Your fans almost certainly run at 12 V. You can confirm by looking at the sticker on them, it's usually listed.
