I have been to 3 PSU calculators and have gotten 3 different answers: anywhere from 275-650W.

Here's my new build:
Intel Q9550 2.83 (will OC to 3.6)
Xigmatek HDT-S1283 (replacing fan with 120mm Nexus real silent)
Gigabyte EP45-UD3P or R
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
Sapphire Radeon HD 4770 512MB - single card (low wattage)
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F1 HD103UJ 1TB 7200 RPM (quiet)
Antec Solo case
2x120mm fans (1 CPU fan from above, 1 stock antec fan)
2x92mm Nexus real silent case fans intake
Win 7 64-bit

I game a little in 1680x1050, more video encoding/editing, some tv/movie watching

I want to get the Nexus Value 430, Enermax Modu82+ 425W, or Corsair VX450W for a quiet build. But the PSU calculators have me wary of getting a 4XXW PSU. I will get 500-600W if I have to :(

Do you think I can get by with a quality 425-450W PSU?

The most important thing to do is to get a "QUALITY PSU!!" I'm not too familiar with a Nexus PSU, but I've heard/read good things about the Corsair 450vx PSU. I've installed a couple of Corsair 550vx PSU's and really like how they are built. The Enermax should do well too, I just haven't researched Enermax PSU's, so I can't really comment on them.
