PSU cable question

So my 800w psu came with this several cables like this one http://www.amazon.co...y/dp/B00A3OVG4W

8 pin in the psu and 2x 6+2 on the other side, that's the cable

imagining the gpu needs 2x 8 pin connectors, should I use one of those cables? or should I plug two of them in my PSU and use two separate cables.

If the cable has two 8-pin PCIe connectors, it should be able to handle the wattage - unless, of course, it's some cheapo, unreliable PSU by an unreliable brand. If not, you should be absolutely fine with one cable.

And in those situations, the fewer the better . . .
